Fused Glass Pendant Jewelry Course

This class meets for two hours and is held multiple times a week. In this class I will demo how to create a fused glass pendant necklace

• · Safety of using a kiln, microwave, glasses and gloves
• · How to design a pendant out of glass
• · Use of cutting tools while cutting glass
• · Techniques for applying layers of glass
• · Firing of glass, temperature, timing
• · Assembly of fused pendant after firing
• · When to open microwave, kiln, handling of glass while hot, cold.

All jewelery, glass supplies are included in the cost of taking this class. Any additional glass used in producing more than one jewelry pendant during the class will be an additional cost for supplies. Cost of Jewelry Class is  $60.00. 

Depending on how long it takes for the entire class to complete the firing of pendants, your pendant may need to be picked up later in the day or the next. Time must be allowed for the glass to cool before moving from kiln in order for the glass not to crack. I recommend picking up your jewelry  the next day.
